Inspired by traditional New England "connected" architecture and minimalist modernism, this project renovates and adds to a first period saltbox house.

The addition with it's separate guest house, decks and wide eaves is a modernist counterpoint to the antique house and barn. It's large expanses of glass over look a stunning 7 acre meadow and pond.

The design is executed using a variety of sustainable materials including super-insulating SIPs panels. The overhanging roof and fenestration are carefully crafted to maximize passive solar energy.
