Matt is a registered architect with over 25 years of experience. Before starting Fishbrook he worked at architectural firms in Boston and Cambridge. After 15 years at larger firms he founded Fishbrook as a way of working in a more personal and crafted manner. His early experience focused on designing institutional projects as well as high-end residences. He has managed retail, hospitality and public space projects. These larger, fast-track projects provide the context for his current practice.

Matt is the father of a nineteen-year-old daughter and resides in Cambridge, MA with his wife, Henriette Lazaridis. He is a member of the Mayor's Downtown Development Committee in Haverhill where he energetically advocates for a new Comprehensive Master Plan for the city. Matt is a member of the Board of Directors of the Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce and a founding member of Haverhill.biz. He has served on the Historic District Commissions in both Haverhill and Boxford. Matt is a passionate cyclist and has competed in bicycle races all over the country.
