Everett Public Schools Everett, MA 1995
[Earl R. Flansburgh + Associates]

This project was comprised of four new buildings and one renovation. The charge was to improve the school facilites on the very small budget of $111/square foot. To meet this challenge we designed a system of interchangable building parts (classrooms, stair shafts, ect.) and assemblies (wall sections and construction details). The program of the buildings combines an elementary and a middle school and arranges them on either side of a shared Cafetorium, Gymnasium, Library and an Administration area. The parti is a tight ring which minimizes the area of the exterior skin. Matthew was the project architect coordinating the architectural and consulting teams.
